Segregated Portfolio Companies

Segrated Portfolio Companies are third-party captives that are designed to accommodate more than one client and keep those clients’ assets and liabilities separate. They are called different names according to jurisdictions. For example, they are also named Segregated-Cell Captives, Sponsored Captives (in Vermont), Protected-Cell Companies (in Guernsey) and Segregated Accounts Companies (in Bermudas). In Cayman they are called Segrated Portfolio Companies.
